In these confusing and often scary times, we thought it was important to let you know how we are responding to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Most importantly, we care about you, your health, and helping you to hear. If there is any way we can help, please reach out and call us on 0403 690 980.

We are operating with the utmost concern for hygiene and sanitation, and are taking advice directly from the Department of Health.

Here are our new procedures:

In-person appointments

If you are feeling ill or displaying any symptoms such as fever, coughing, sore throat or shortness of breath, we would ask you to cancel in-person appointments and seek medical advice.

Even if you are feeling healthy, we would encourage you to change any in-person appointments to phone consultations. Please note, we are still doing some face to face appointments but would ask you to confirm the appointment with us on 0403 690 980.

Phone consultations

We are encouraging all our patients to change appointments to over the phone consultations. This can be organised by calling us directly on 0403 690 980.

Contacting us

We would ask you to call or text message us directly on 0403 690 980, as we understand that the current demand on the doctor’s clinics we work in may make them difficult to reach.

Batteries

If you need batteries for you hearing aids, please send a text message to 0403 690 980 and we will post some out to you.

Broken hearing aids

If your hearing aids are not working and you think they may be broken, please call us for a over the phone consultation. We will then arrange for you to post the broken aids to our main clinic: Hearing SA, Stirling Central Health Clinic, 14 Driud Ave, Stirling 5152.

If you have any concerns or questions regarding these changes, please feel free to get in contact with us!

All of us at Hearing SA send our very best wishes, and hope you are safe and well in these difficult times.
